Mind: The Orangery tea room recipe book

Pb are pleased to have been asked to design a recipe book for The Orangery Tea Room titled ‘Baking Through Lockdown. The book contains over 50 recipes from friends of the Tea Room who turned to baking to help them through the first national lockdown in March 2020, and has been designed in collaboration with Norfolk & Waveney Mind Charity. It also has some high profile people connected to it, having been forwarded by none other than The Great British Bake Off’s Prue Leith and containing a recipe from Norfolk’s celebrity chef Galton Blackiston.

The design of the book contains a modern layout which works very well and is also easily adaptable for various page designs. A nice balance of positive and negative space along with baking illustrations and nice use of photography help give this book a modern look and feel, whilst still highlighting the key areas for use during baking such as the Ingredients & Method.
