The LittleBrown video was pretty sensational stuff: funny, endearing but also cinematic & inspirational.

The Challenge
Finding the right vehicle for communicating culture and values for an organisation of full time and contract employees across office and remote working sites, was the challenge handed to us by one of our favourite clients. They needed an approach that was flexible and engaging, ideally one that included humour as well as being able to support the messaging of the organisation
The Solution
It started out as a Spanish prawn (there was a Catalonian connection) which after much brainstorming and idea generation, developed into Gary – the little blue man who could turn his hand to literally anything. Gary became the company’s iconic embodiment of their culture and values He appeared in animations on TV’s, on vinyl’s and posters around the office and beyond, on emails, newsletters and other digital communications and become central in the employee well being programme and the reward and recognition scheme. He was even sculpted into some fantastic awards – the Garys were born.
The Outcome
Gary was very much adopted by the organisation. He became one of their own, and was key in providing messaging with humour, personality and engagement. The stakeholders knew who to turn to when they had something to say and the requests for Gary in a myriad of forms both artistically ( he liked dressing up) and in various forms of media were numerous, taking on his own personality and style
