      Role
      Exhibition Stand Builder - Full Time

      Wanted – an Exhibition Stand Builder to join an outstanding Creative Communications Agency delivering exceptional events and experiences. You will have experience of working within a manufacturing workshop environment

      As we continue to deliver exceptional virtual and hybrid event experiences for our clients, we are looking for an additional Exhibition Stand Builder for our workshop working alongside our team of Designers, Project Managers and Carpentry team.

      Ideally you should be able to demonstrate an aptitude or have experience in the preparation and building of temporary structures utilising carpentry, painting and finishing skills. We are interested to hear from individuals who have an interest in developing a career within live events and exhibitions, and spatial structure construction.

      The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, very well organised, and a team player who can multi-task and work to strict deadlines whilst still delivering great service. You will be required to work flexibly within the team and be available to work during weekends or evenings either at the workshop or on site when there is a business need. You will need to be independently mobile to perform this role.

      This opportunity will suit individuals who may have a relevant carpentry/construction qualification or be qualified through experience. However, we would also consider applications from recently qualified carpentry candidates.

    • Technical Support Manager

      Technical Support Manager - Full Time, 12 months fixed term

      We are looking to recruit a Technical Support Manager to join our Technical Services team. The focus of the role will be to provide technical production support for our virtual and hybrid events.

      This role will work closely with our Producers and Freelance Production Managers in providing bespoke, effective technical solutions within budget to our clients. You will need to possess an excellent understanding of all audio-visual elements required to deliver successful virtual and hybrid events.

      You will take briefs from clients, prepare quotations, negotiate discounts, schedule, and deliver events. When required you will need to be hands on and undertake pre-event site visits, prep equipment and when necessary provide on-site technical support.

      You should also be comfortable building good relationships with suppliers, freelance contractors and be used to sub-hiring equipment when necessary.

      The successful candidate will be an experienced project manager, with good communication and organisation skills who can multi-task while keeping to strict deadlines.

    • IT Support & Network Administrator

      As an established multi service creative production agency, we are looking to recruit for an additional IT professional within our IT & Digital team.

      In this newly created role of IT Support & Network Administrator you will be technically competent to be able to confidently provide 1:1 support to users both face to face and remotely as well as provide systems support with administering and developing Pb’s network system.

      Pb delivers exceptional virtual and hybrid event experiences for our clients and this role will lead on ensuring our streaming capabilities within our studio’s networks (permanent and mobile) are met. This will include support with bandwidth, connectivity, and resilience to be able to offer the best service to our wide range of clients.

      You will also be responsible for Pb IT backups and recovery, as well as updating, maintaining, and fully documenting the network and systems in use at Pb. The successful candidate will also provide management, support and configuration of RDP, DNS, DHCP, RDS and VLANS.

      You will need to be able to work flexibly when required to attend site out of usual office hours to troubleshoot IT issues with ad hoc system failures as well as support the upgrades, and maintenance on IT requirements of the business. There may also be a need on occasion to provide online event IT support.

    • Exhibition & Spatial Design Project Manager

      Wanted – an experienced Project Manager to join our outstanding Exhibition & Spatial Design team delivering exceptional exhibitions and creative spatial installation solutions.

      As we continue to deliver exceptional virtual and hybrid exhibitions, event experiences and interior installations for our clients, we are looking for an additional experienced Exhibition & Spatial Design Project Manager to join our team.

      Client focused you will have demonstrable end to end project management skills with experience of scoping briefs, quoting activities, monitoring budgets, as well as experience in setting/meeting project milestones/timelines. This role requires a high attention to detail and good client relationship skills are a pre-requisite. You will strive to creatively interpret our client’s briefs utilising all internal resources to deliver innovative ideas and solutions which address our client’s objectives.

      Ideally you will have a background in exhibition management/interior installations which encompasses the development of a brief, design, event delivery and an appreciation of new industry trends. You will be technically competent with an understanding of the exhibition life cycle. You will also have knowledge of exhibition construction/manufacturing processes and be comfortable leading clients through all aspects of the production elements of projects. You will have a good working knowledge of health & safety requirements specifically relating to exhibition management.

      There will be the requirement to support project delivery on site in various locations in the UK and internationally (when permitted), so a driving licence is essential. Flexibility with working hours is also desirable as there will be occasions when some projects may be delivered during evenings/weekends.
